Ask WNZ: Who Better For Charlotte?

How’s this one for a challenging question: as we approach WrestleMania, the #1 contender for the Divas Championship is unsettled, as Becky and Sasha wrestled to a draw on the Leap Day RAW. So, picking from those two…who would make a better WM32 opponent?

Dorathy Gass:

To be frank, either talents against Charlotte for the Divas Championship at Wrestlemania  32 would give fans a solid match. At the end of the day, I do think it’ll probably be a Triple Threat bout; still, if I had to choose between one or the other, I would go with Banks. I’m a huge LassKicker fan, and I would love to see Lynch hold the title, and perform on the grandest stage of them all. I like Banks, and respect what she does in the ring and on the mic as well, however, there are a couple of reasons, aside from performance, as to why I’m leaning towards Sasha with this one. First, the WWE Universe. They want to see Sasha, and they have been quite vocal about. I think Banks versus Charlotte is a match most WWE fans want to see at Wrestlemania 32, and I would hate for Lynch and Charlotte to lock up on the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’, only to hear ‘We Want Sasha’ chants echoing through the AT&T Stadium in Texas. Also, the main roster fans have not yet had an opportunity to see these two women collide as of yet, one-on-one; while Charlotte and Lynch have had many matches thus far.

John Deegan:

This one is both really easy, but a lot more complicated. Did I confuse you yet? No? Still with me? OK, good.

Easy, because I think the winner of the popular vote would be Sasha, hands down. I think she is the one most fans yearn to see vying for the Divas Championship when WrestleMania rolls into the Lone Star State in a few weeks.

Complicated, because I am a big fan of Becky, and while she may not be as beloved by so many as Sasha is, I do think she has quite a following and is deserving too.

The lazy answer? There are two of them. First, I could say go for a triple threat match. It resolves the issues of having to decide one versus the other, and if someone at WWE HQ finally had some cajones, they could book these ladies in a 15 to 20 minute match. And heck, make it not a triple threat match, where first one to get a pinfall wins the title. Nope. Make it a three way dance-eliminations until only one is left. The other lazy one is to just put Sasha in the match. But I really do favor the three women going at it in Texas.
