Ask WNZ: Any Fastlane Surprises?

As we await Fastlane, we keep looking forward to tonight. For this Ask WNZ, we see if our writers are expecting any surprises this weekend.

Dorathy Gass:

Sadly, no. I do think Roman Reigns will walk out of the main event match the winner. What surprises would I like to see? One can’t help but wonder if Dean Ambrose has any chance of winning, now that he is no longer the Intercontinental Champion. That would be a welcoming surprise if he won, and moved on to main event Wrestlemania 32. Could Ambrose turn heel? Would that be a surprise? I think not …

Now if Reigns turned heel, that would be a surprise. But I don’t think that will happen

John Deegan:

For me, there are three possible surprises.

First? Owens loses to Ziggler, just 6 days after winning his 2nd Intercontinental Championship.

Second? Surprise appearance of The Undertaker during the advertised 3 on 3 tag match.

Third? Something happening during the Divas Championship match, by Ric Flair, that gets Daniel Bryan involved.

Of those three? I think Undertaker’s is least likely, especially as it seems WWE is still aiming for a singles match for him, so having him involved in the tag match would be rather pointless, unless it’s to get him going after Bray and go for a re-match. I doubt it.

Bryan wouldn’t be a bad idea, and they could probably even tease a mixed tag match, in spite of his retirement, because I doubt Ric Flair would be willing or able to involved in anything overly physical. I think a match putting Daniel in Brie’s corner is much more plausible.

Josehp Lisnow:

Nope. Nothing. Nada. Those are the surprises I’m expecting from the WWE. Fastlane almost seems like any other show. The only highlight is WWE can promote this as the final PPV before WrestleMania 32. Unfortunately, there’s nothing about the matches that I think will shock fans. If I had to select one thing of interest, it’s the Edge and Christian segment. Hopefully a major match is setup from the talk show segment, and it’s not another waste of time.

Wrestlemania card I would like to see:
Reigns vs HHH since it’s basically already set in stone.
AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens for IC title last man standing
Dolph Ziggler vs Chris Jericho either as heel would work
Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose Falls count anywhere
Undertaker vs Cena if he gets back in time
New Day vs Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs Usos vs Lucha Dragons TLC for tag team champs
Charlotte vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks for divas championship

like the last man standing. maybe save for extreme rules where they have more time for the match.
