Ask WNZ: Who Wins Tag Tourney

By the time the last RAW of April goes off the air, we should know (barring some unexpected development) which team has become the number one contender for the tag team championship. So we ask: who do you think will win the honor to challenge New Day?

Dorathy Gass:

Enzo and Cass. They’ve blown up the main roster since their debut, and are quite over with the fans. How cool would it be to see New Day battle these NXT guys in the ring, and on the mic? Only one minor concern with this scenario: both teams are faces … but who cares? It’ll STILL be entertaining. Not to mention the potential promos between these two leading up to the Tag Team Championship match, that is sure to take place at the next WWE pay-per-view, or Network special.

John Deegan:

While I want to say Enzo and Cass, because they are just so entertaining, I am going with The Vaudevillain. Why? Because, as Dor pointed out, both New Day AND Enzo and Cass are faces. It can happen, with faces fighting faces, but it’s not always ideal. So how do we get there? Simple.

During Monday’s match to determine the number one team to challenge for the gold, Enzo and Cass get taken out, somehow or other, by Devon and Bubba. Call it payback for the new guys going hard after the wily veterans. But it makes sense. There’s no way that Enzo and Cass are done with The Dudleys, nor should they be. And, it allows a heel team to face off against New Day.

The only other way things could be changed up, and I wouldn’t put it past WWE: Dudleys interfere, but attack BOTH teams on Monday night. And Shane, or whomever is running RAW this time around, makes one of two matches-either a triple threat match with New Day, Enzo and Cass and Vaudevillains, or a four way affair adding The Dudleys to the mix too.

Joseph Lisnow:

It’s simply a guess, but I say The Vaudevillain. The WWE seems to be giving them the major heel push of all the new teams coming from NXT. New Day is still the best tag team in WWE, but they need competition. While New Day is over, their time with the belts is nearing an end. Enzo and Cass are great, but they seem more like a comic duo. Their time with the tag belts will come, but not for months; maybe not even this year.

No one wants to see Cryme Tyme 2.0 vs New Day

I thought Cryme Tyme 2.0 was Prime Time Players

So are we all ignoring the fact that the finals are at payback in may. Not raw in april.

  • Si Nicholls

I’ve seen 1 match per team now as the network is expensive in the UK, so for skill level I would say Vaudevillains, but for entertainment I would say Enzo and Cass, I always go for skill so hopefully Vaudevillains win this time around

I think everyone’s summed it up. Vaudies would make sense as a threat to New Day but Enzo and Cass plus New Day would be real fun to watch, given their charisma.

    Ambrose sucks.
