Chyna: Remembering ‘The 9th Wonder Of The World’

The loss of Chyna (real name Joanie Laurer) on Wednesday evening came as a shock to some; others saw this day coming. Ultimately, this is a sad moment as a pioneer in wrestling is gone. Whether wrestling women or men, Chyna truly showed how the gender of a person didn’t matter inside a squared circle.

“they looked so real and painful from my TV screen as I sat comfortably on my coach.” Sat comfortably on your coach? That’s just gross man.

“yet no diva has entered into the King of the King tournament”
    King of Kings? HHH tournament?

“Every diva to join the main roster wants to where gold” But first you have got to know WHERE the gold is in order to WEAR the gold.

I have always thought that WW(F)E calling Chyna “The 9th Wonder of the World” was one of the classiest things the company has ever done. It showed not only what heights they thought she could achieve and how much faith they had in her, it also showed how much they respected the late, great Andre the Giant by not calling her “The New 8th Wonder of the World” which would have been extremely irreverent and very poorly received by longtime wrestling fans like me, though it wouldn’t have been the first (or last) time multiple performers shared the same moniker.
