There wasn’t much to the Enzo vs. Big Cass match. Enzo went right after Big Cass and couldn’t even put his former partner on the canvas. Big Cass tossed Enzo around like a rag doll and gained some heat along the way, so good job there. This new mean streak from Big Cass is what helps mid-level wrestlers become world title contenders.
The WWE returned to pay per view with Sunday’s Great Balls Of Fire, where no titles changed hands and 9 matches were shoved down our throats. Overall, the three plus hours moved along and the show felt bland at times. Somewhere in that mix of ordinary, five wrestlers left Great Balls Of Fire as real winners.
