The first ever Hell in Cell match set the tone for future ones. The concept was violent and introduced WWE fans to a gimmick that is still around almost 20 years later. Michaels (who was a bloody mess) had been tossed from each side of the steel and only left with his belt thanks to the debuting Kane.
With the Hell in a Cell match returning at WrestleMania 32 for Shane McMahon vs. Undertaker, the two have their worked cutout for them. The number of matches inside the structure has grown dramatically in recent years, making it a challenge to top the previous ones. For Shane and Taker, they need to surpass these five legendary encounters.
