Full results of the 2016 NXT TakeOver Brooklin II, below:

Austin Aries defeated No Way Jose

With No Way Jose entering the Brooklyn stage starting a conga line, the match started off a little slow, but came back with a vengeance; with the Barclays’ crowd sitting on the edge of their seats. When all was said and done, Austin Aries laid a Sunset Flip on Jose, and then placed his Last Chancery submission. No Way Jose tapped out, and the rest was TakeOver history. In other news, as Aries continued to punish an already beaten Jose, Hideo Itami came out and shocked the NXT Universe with a return. He and Aries had a confrontation, and Itami made quick work of Aries, hit his GTS on him, and then threw him out of the ring.

Ember Moon defeated Billie Kay

Ember Moon made a solid debut into the women’s division at NXT, by getting the three-count on Billie Kay. Her finisher, yet to be named, was a top rope fly through the air, as she laid a Stunner-like hold on Kay during the fall. Impressive first match for Moon; impressive look (red eyes and all; and impressive win as well.

Bobby Roode defeated Andrade Almas

With a glorious entrance (pun-intended), Bobby Roode and Andrade Almas locked into the action of this match, from the get-go. The match was an even-toned one, where neither dominated, however, a Glorious Bomb provided the competitive edge that Roode needed, to get the three-count, and the win. A solid NXT debut, by the likes of Bobby Roode.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) defeated Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to retain the NXT Tag Team Championships

Some incredible tag team action, as these two teams fought for the bragging rights as NXT tag titles champs. The action was intense in the ring, and also spilled out on ringside. Gargano and Ciampa battled an ever-cheating Revival, as they distracted the referee when the two were trying to tag in an out; as well breaking an arm bar submission, as Ciampa had Dawson locked up. At one point, the match was thought to be over, when a three-count was laid on Wilder, but the ref noticed his leg was on the rope (thanks to Dawson). In the end, it was a Figure-Four Leg Lock on Gargano (in which he tapped out to), that won the Revival the match, and helped them to retain their titles.

Asuka defeated Bayley to retain NXT Women’s Championship

With the crowd chanting “let’s go Asuka/let’s go Bayley” these two women tore the house down. Asuka continued to play her mind games, yet, Bayley continued to persevered. While Bayley was able to get out of the Asuka Lock, twice; she was also able to get the three-count and retain, after a kick to the back of Bayley’s head, laid her out. After the match, Asuka helped Bayley to her feet, and gave her hug.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe to win the NXT Championship

With an incredible, live violin-played entrance, Shinsuke Nakamura continued to get under the skin of Samoa Joe, as NXT TakeOver’s main event match began. Joe dominate the match early on; using his weight advantage, strength, and power to throw Nakamura around like a rag doll. Despite the many submissions Joe laid on Shinsuke; Nakamura continued to escape his attempts at a tap out. Shinsuke was also able to kick out after two Muscle Busters. Still, Nakamura went on, and after two Kinshasas to Joe, he was able to defeat the big Samoan, pin him for a three-count, and become the new NXT Championship.
