Total Bellas: Coming To A Small Screen Near You

It was bound to happen, sooner or later. For anyone who currently watches the E! Network’s reality television show which chronicles the lives of WWE’s female talents, then you know that while stories about Naomi, Natalya, Paige, Eva Maria (as well as others) are told; the show has always centered around The Bella Twins. Since the ladies have shacked up with some pretty high-profile WWE men (Mommy Bella included), it only makes sense that the WWE, E! Network, as well as the cast of Total Bellas capitalize on the fascination that some wrestling fans, as well as the main stream Total Divas fans have, and branch off into their own spin-off reality show.

I’ve seen comments on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram; there have been many who have wanted a show that centers around the Bellas, and the Bellas only. The ladies have interesting banter among them, Daniel Bryan seems to have a great sense of humor, and John Cena is John Cena; who wouldn’t want to know more, and see more?

And from the looks of the trailer, it seems that the show is going to dive into a lot of issues that we as wrestling fans, not to mention main stream TD fans, would simply love to see more of: Daniel Bryan’s retirement; Nikki’s injury, surgery, and recovery; not to mention the canoodling between newly married Kathy Colace (the twins’ mom) and WWE executive John Laurinaitis. In a lot of ways, this family has transformed themselves into WWE royalty; as it seems these women have wrestling in their hearts, and fancy high-profile men in the business (although in Brie’s case, she really was with DB far before his YES! Movement and over-the-top popularity hit). With everyone moving into John Cena’s house, it will make for some interesting ‘odd couple’ type humor, as the quite different foursome try to co-exist. Wrestling fan or not; whether it is a true reflection of their situations or not; Total Bellas is exactly what a lot of Total Divas fans have been waiting for.

While it is reality television (using the term reality loosely), like a majority of the reality programming, it really is only a shadow of what their lives are truly like; and I realize this. Situations are set up much like scenarios are concocted for WWE storylines, yet, I have to admit, I am excited about the show, reliving DB’s retirement and gaining a different perspective; not to mention the fact that Brie Bella will get the farewell she deserves, as the show will undoubtedly feature the reasoning behind her early in-ring retirement and bid her a proper adieu.

Any Total Divas fans out there? Anyone interested in checking out Total Bellas? Would love to hear from you WNZ fans! Comment below!

I think this show more appeases the female audience, to be honest I’m not interested. My wife isn’t a wrestling fan but she loved total divas along with a few girls I work with who again aren’t wrestling fans. That’s mainly the demo that this show is geared towards in my opinion.

you are totally correct. Pretty much all my female friends watch Total Divas, but don’t watch WWE. Also, could be a way to attract wives/gf to the WWE (not to mention opens up another new demographic for the WWE). I have a friend who is a huge WWE fan, but his wife … not so much. She does like Total Divas though 😉
