For the 2016 Rumble, we already know entrant number 1. On RAW, in a continued effort to screw Roman Reigns, Vince McMahon declared that Reigns is the first man in. Which begs the question: who is number 2?
Barring some series of rapid eliminations, this is usually the only portion of the Rumble that has a chance to really resemble an actual wrestling match, up until the final four. So with that in mind, I have three predictions for who the 2nd entrant will be.
#1: Hunter Hearst Helmsley
This one, at least being so early in the night? That seems unlikely-though I have been calling for a HHH entry in the Rumble for several weeks now. I think, if anything, he comes in between 25 and 30, but having him go toe to toe with Roman right away would be another surprise, for sure.
#2: Dean Ambrose
This one would be less about hurting Roman and more about hurting both Reigns and Ambrose, stacking the deck so that neither man has an easy path to the title. Consider this maneuver to be The Authority aiming to kill two birds with one stone.
#3: Braun Strowman
Here’s a big man who makes just about everyone in the ring with him look tiny.¬† Reigns is no exception. If you see Strowman as the second man down to the ring, just know that it’s going to be a long night for Roman. Very long. Or, if not long? Then very disappointing, as a short night clearly means Reigns would be leaving without a title.
We will know in just a few short days, but who do you think opens up the Rumble with Reigns?
