It was a stranger-than-usual week in wrestling, both onscreen and behind-the-scenes, and the weirdness played out on Twitter. CM Punk continued his entertainingly disrespectful treatment of the late Paul Bearer’s urn, while other WWE stars tweeted some pre-WrestleMania smack talk. X-Pac literally busted his ass, Matt Hardy got engaged and the unflappable Jerry Lawler found humor in his near-death experience.
The tragic death of Ric Flair’s son Reid, however, cast a somber shadow over the wrestling world Friday, and many used social media to express their grief and condolences.
Here’s a look at the week that was:

Someone said that if you die and then come back to life, technically you're a zombie. Just checking! pic.twitter.com/pDc4toigMV— Jerry Lawler (@JerryLawler) March 24, 2013

@MichaelCole you're exactly one of the reasons America is in the shape it is today. Naivete and eyes wide shut to not recognize the danger.— Zeb Colter (@WWEZeb) March 27, 2013
