After about six months away from Impact Wrestling, Kim returned to announce that 2017 would be her final year as an active wrestler. It isn’t a storyline as Kim made the decision to hang up her boots in a few months.
Kim won the WWE Women’s Championship in her debut match before being released. She joined Impact Wrestling before returning to WWE. After a lack of a push, Kim went back to Impact Wrestling (later renamed GFW this year). She’s a Hall of Famer and considered the pioneer of TNA’s women’s division.
