Jeff Hardy: Wrestling & The Little Things

Speaking to LA Weekly, Jeff Hardy described¬†the one match he’d want to work before calling it quits in wrestling. The match: Hell In A Cell against The Undertaker at WrestleMania.

“Man, I want to Swanton off the top of the cell onto the commentary table,” Hardy said, “Then I want to climb the cell, cut the f-cking cage when Taker’s back in the ring, Swanton through the cage, miss, and then Tombstone 1-2-3.”

Hardy, who at the time was apparently walking with a bit of a limp, went on to talk about the “real” element of wrestling.

“Wrestling’s not f–king real, but it’s not f–king fake,” Hardy said,¬†“It’s predetermined. But it’s not f–king fake. Sometimes, I forget who I am,” And adding, “Everything hurts. I’ve had a broken elbow, shoulder, leg…”

In terms of a WWE return, Hardy said that he’d be open to negotiations but unwilling to work¬†a full time schedule.

“”Matt and I are doing some great stuff in TNA right now,” He said, “So I’ll be happy to stay here until the end if that’s how it works out.”

And sometimes you need to enjoy the little things in life. At Bloodymania 10, which is part of the Gathering of the Juggalos hosted by Insane Clown Posse (which is a far cry from the PG product of WWE), Hardy grabbed a mic while in the ring and addressed the crowd.

“I just wanted to say f-ck because I can,” he said, “And you guys f-ckin’ rock!”

Oh, the little things indeed.
