WWE Legend Wants to Buy TNA with Help from Fans

– Jake “The Snake” Roberts, who moved out of Diamond Dallas Page’s Accountability Crib and is now living with his lawyer, told BlankManINC.com that he wants to use crowd-funding site Indiegogo so fans can help him purchase TNA.

He was asked about TNA going up for sale. Here’s his response:

“God, it needs to. I mean, I watched for 10, 12, 15 years, however long it’s been out there and they suck. I guarantee you if I get the opportunity, in a matter of six months I’ll be pissing Vince McMahon off. My numbers will beat his, I guarantee you that.”

Jake, who says he hasn’t heard from WWE in regards to a Royal Rumble return, says he would rather own TNA so he can change the world and get wrestling back to what it should be – wrestling, not sports entertainment.

Jake said: “I guarantee you if I get the opportunity, in a matter of six months I’ll be pissing Vince McMahon off.” I guarantee, nothing Jake or TNA does in the present or future is ever going to be on Vince McMahon’s radar. He’s simply not looking that way, I believe, nor should he.

odds are you are right; but who knows?

No one with money will take a chance on Roberts possibly falling off “snow mountain” with their money. This is a desperate attempt to get Vince to let him be in the Rumble. And if I were Vince and had possibly been thinking about it for comedic value, after this I would surely not do it now, just to piss Roberts off.

How much money would that be? 5 million dollars? More or less?

  • Iron Mike Sharpe

I got $200 in my paypal account. I think I could buy TNA with that… it is about what the place is worth.

  • Damian Starr

I think this would be a cool move personally!

  • Z….

well, Jake is unfortunately back on drugs. That was pretty fast after moving out…its unfortunate b/c the part about being more wrestling based than sports entertainment is right.

Jake is back on drugs? Source?

      • Z….

clear sarcasm…but thinking he can get fans to help him buy TNA, and then beat Vince’s numbers within 6 months, is probably a bad sign

Oops, I missed that, it was too early in the morning. Yeah, Jake would have to be on something to think he could do either, let alone both.

Just a question that nobody hear probably can answer, why do DDP and company keep using Indiegogo when Kickstarter get’s more traffic?
