Details on Why TNA Is Not Making Major Progress, Matches for Tonight’s Impact

- Matches taped for tonight’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling are Samoa Joe vs. a member of Aces & 8s, Christian York vs. Rob Van Dam, Kazarian & Daniels vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez, Gail Kim vs. Miss Tessmacher and Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries in the main event.

- Based on statistics, one could make the argument that TNA is not progressing in certain areas. As far as ratings go, in November of 2011, Impact was drawing an average 1.17 rating with 1.61 million viewers. In November of 2012, they are averaging a 0.96 rating with 1.27 million viewers. This is a 17.9% drop in ratings and a 21.1% drop in audience. The Impact decline by percentage year-over-year is significantly more than WWE’s RAW or SmackDown.

As far as live event attendance goes, in November of 2011, the average attendance for events was 975. In November of 2012, average attendance is down 40.4% to 581.
