TNA Drug Testing, Stars Absent from iMPACT, Jersey Gimmick Nixed?

- TNA did another round of drug testing before tonight’s iMPACT tapings in Orlando. Wrestlers received physicals, had blood work done and drug screening.

- The dark match before tonight’s iMPACT tapings saw Shannon Moore and Christina Von Eerie defeat the team of Becky Bayless and Okada. As noted before, Von Eerie was rumored to be the new valet for Ink Inc. Bayless was repackaged as Cookie and paired up with Robbie T, doing a Jersey Shore gimmick. No word yet if Bayless wrestled as the Cookie character at tonight’s tapings.

- A few TNA regulars were absent from Monday’s iMPACT tapings. Notable names who weren’t there include Rob Terry, Hernandez, Sarita, Lacey Von Erich as well as Knockout Tag Champions Taylor Wilde and Hamada. At last word, these stars weren’t at Tuesday’s tapings either. No word yet on why they weren’t there but it could be a cost-cutting measure.
