- ABC Action News out of Tampa, Florida is reporting that the child abuse charges against former WWF superstar B. Brian Blair have been dropped. Blair was arrested on Father’s Day and charged with several counts of child abuse after he allegedly punched and choked his two sons, who are 17 and 12 years old.

- WWE.com has added Bob Backlund to their “Where Are They Now?” section. The piece includes a recent picture of the former WWE Champion, who talks about his 30+ career in the wrestling business. Backlund is currently the owner and operator of Backlund Energy, a company that delivers heating oil to homes throughout central Connecticut. After running for Congress back in 2000 (he didn’t win), he still has political aspirations and plans to run for Governor of Connecticut.

- This past Tuesday’s edition of ECW did a 1.2 cable rating. ECW featured a plethora of new talent, which we have covered the background of each star.

- Batista was telling friends backstage at RAW that he was on schedule with his recovery from the tendon tear surgery. He was told that he will begin working out in about 4-6 weeks.
