Jericho to Keep Quiet on RAW for Weeks?, Huge Match with Lesnar?, Headbangers
- The Headbangers are not giving up on a potential WWE return and have posted a new video on YouTube, responding to WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom’s video on WWE’s website where they talked about looking for new contenders. Here’s the video:
- While this likely won’t happen, Simon Kelly Inoki, a promoter in Japan, is trying to put together a Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko bout – but it would be a pro wrestling match instead of MMA. Inoki said they are trying to get Lesnar to wrestle for the IGF promotion and are also trying to get Fedor to debut in pro wrestling.
- As noted before, WWE officials have had talks about Chris Jericho winning the Royal Rumble this year. There was an idea suggested this past weekend where Jericho won’t speak on RAW until after the Rumble. This would see Jericho give his big victory speech, speak for the first time since returning and likely call out WWE Champion CM Punk for WrestleMania 28.
