Kelly Replaces Y2J, Cut WWE Segment, More...

- WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler will be appearing at a University of Central Arkansas Tailgate party in Conway, Arkansas today starting at 3:45pm.

- As posted before, WWE had to cut some comedy segments out of the No Mercy pay-per-view this year. WWE had plans to air a segment featuring Charlie Haas impersonating Hornswoggle late in the show, but it was cut due to time constraints. It was cut because they didn’t want the segment to potentially cut off any time from the ladder match between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho. Additionally, Haas’ impersonation of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper was relegated to dark match duty the next night on Raw, perhaps as to not take attention from the actual Piper being announced as a choice for Santino Marella’s Intercontinental Championship match at Cyber Sunday. Haas lost to Dolph Ziggler in the dark match.

- WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently spoke to TMZ about being snubbed by Dancing With The Stars. He flexes his arms and says they missed their greatest contestant, and that Warren Sapp has nothing on him.

- Cryme Tyme’s Shad defeated Kofi Kingston in the finals of the European SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 Superstar Challenge in Madrid, Spain on 9/26. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho was replaced in the Challenge by Kelly Kelly of all people.
