- Thanks to Michael Chad for these live notes from last night’s WWE The Bash pay-per-view in Sacramento:
Just got back from what I still like to call The Great American Bash. I had high hopes going in for some of the matches but left disappointed. The place looked to be pretty packed with only a few small areas blacked out.
Match of the night was Jericho and Mysterio hands down. The worse I would say was Miz/Cena. Just god awful. Dolph/Khali was actually good, the tag team triple threat was insane when Jericho/Edge came out. HHH/Orton was another retarded match, the Womens match was what it was, Punk/Hardy was a disappointment and the ECW scramble was okay.
A cool moment came during the triple threat when the crowd kept cheering for Christian. Jericho turned around and asked them Why? and then told everyone to stop living in the past.
Another memory on the top of my head came when we were leaving and getting our keepers chairs. Some guy a few seats down from us was talking to a WWE crew guy about Triple H and the crew member said something about how Triple H was banged up pretty bad from the main event and that he was in the back seeing a doctor and in no mood to talk.
Biggest pops: Jeff Hardy, Triple H, John Cena, Mysterio/Jerichos whole match, Edge/Jericho surprise to some extent, Khali and/or Kane
Biggest heat: The Miz, Dreamer’s win for some reason, CM Punk, John Cena (yes) and probably Randy Orton I’d say
You toooootally missed the heat from Mysterio winning. There was a lot of people booing.
