- There is some serious fear within WWE right now on all three brands about more releases and how the bad economy may be affecting business overall. Wrestlers and other staff are worried about how WWE’s cost cutting may affect them.
The feeling is that we may be seeing some talent releases that come as a bit of a surprise. Everyone knows to be on their best behavior right now in and out of the ring because they feel they could be cut for even the smallest infractions. A lot of this could be chalked up to paranoia among the talents, but the fear is there.
WWE did very well on their recent tour of Europe and the WWE Superstars are expecting nice bonuses in return for their hard work. However, due to the way things are worked out with promoters of the European tours, the talents are having to wait a little longer than usual for the bonuses.
