- Edge was scheduled to wrestle Triple H at this Saturday’s SmackDown/ECW house show at the Canton Memorial Civic Center in Canton, Ohio, but the main event has since been changed to a “SmackDown Tag Team Special Attraction Match” pitting Undertaker & Triple H vs. The Great Khali and MVP.

- To kick off the partnership between WWE and myNetworkTV, the first-ever broadcast presentation of WrestleMania XXIV will air on Thursday, October 2 at 8 p.m. The very next night, Friday, October 3, SmackDown will premiere on the network.
