Update on Morishima Working with WWE...

- As previously posted, representatives from Pro Wrestling NOAH accompanied Takeshi Morishima to RAW for his dark match against Charlie Haas this past Monday night in Chicago. NOAH had a few conditions for the match in that Morishima could not appear on TV in any way and could not lose a match.

WWE has had interest in Takeshi for some time now but if they were to sign him, they would probably have to make some kind of payment to NOAH as well as come to an obvious agreement with the company. NOAH has spent years building him up and to lose one of their biggest stars would hurt. At the same time, they have wanted to build his international reputation for some time now which is why he was sent to Ring of Honor. Just the fact that he beat a WWE Superstar, even Charlie Haas, in a dark match is a bit of a big deal in Japan as it is for some fans here in the States. John Laurinaitis was believed to be the connection that brought Morishima to RAW but there’s no word yet if they have had talks since then.

Morishima also worked a dark match against Jamie Noble at this week’s SmackDown tapings.
