- It appears if the rumors of former WWE Champion Sid Vicious returning to WWE are true. Sid made inquiries about getting back into the company and has been told he will get a tryout or a dark match when WWE comes back through his area in September.

There is concern within WWE over the fact that Sid really hasn’t done anything since his big ankle injury back in the day and they’re afraid that he will come in and not be able to get over. Sid was reportedly upset that WWE wanted to give him a tryout because he feels like since he has headlined for the company in previous years, he should just be brought in. WWE wants to get a feel for him, see how he looks these days and make sure it is worth investing the time and the money in him.

There is no confirmed plans for his main roster return but there is definitely communication between the two sides. While Sid has been receptive to WWE’s offer, it is not confirmed that he has accepted.
