WWE is currently taping next week’s edition of ECW On Sci-Fi from the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania. Special thanks to readers Casey and Tyler for text-messaging the following results.

* A WrestleMania XXIV video package is shown.

* Lots of “WOOOO” chants.

Dark Match:

* FCW’s Jake Hager defeated Jamie Noble. Hager got the win via pinfall. Noble took a hard hit to his neck.

* Funaki b. Nick Nemeth. Funaki got the win with a roll up. Solid overall match.

ECW On Sci-Fi: (Airing Next Week, September 2nd)

* John Morrison & The Miz open the show with the Dirt Sheet. All the participants from the upcoming ECW Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven are in the ring. It turns into one big brawl. The babyfaces clear the ring and stand tall. Tommy Dreamer and Evan Bourne helped out

* Backstage the two sides continue to fight. Teddy Long announces tonight’s main event as an eight-man tag match with Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Finlay, and Tommy Dreamer vs. Mark Henry, The Miz, John Morrison, and Chavo Guerrero.

* Super Crazy pinned Gavin Spears via pinfall after hitting a moonsault in a quick match. The crowd could have cared less.

* Ricky Ortiz b. Ryan Braddock. Ortiz got the win via pinfall after hitting a running body splash.

* Tommy Dreamer, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne and Finlay defeated ECW Champion Mark Henry, The Miz, John Morrison and Chavo Guerrero. Hardy pinned Henry after all the faces did their finishing moves.
