Tommy Dreamer Confirms WWE Offered Him A Contract

Wyatt Family
The rumors of WWE offering Tommy Dreamer a contract are true.

“They’ve offered me a contract and I really have so many commitments to my own company as well as the charities and to other shows, I can’t sign a contract, said Dreamer on Busted Open. “My life, and I can’t give up on my own company, so I basically had to say ‘Thank you. If you want me to come in, then I will do the best to my abilities in all that I do, but if not, that’s cool. Hope we can still be friends’. So that’s where we’re at.”

The symbol of the original ECW stated he was set for the WWE Draft, before those plans were nixed. While still wrestling, Dreamer has been busy running House of Hardcore, which has been successful with exciting shows. He was open to the idea of returning for short programs, like when he and some other ECW originals challenged the Wyatt Family in late 2015.

Curt Hawkins, Rhyno, Shelton Benjamin, and Jinder Mahal are some of the names WWE have recently re-signed. MVP and Carlito were rumored to be heading to WWE, but those claims have calmed in recent weeks.
