Absolutely. While I did predict a face return, after Monday Night, I was reminded just why I love Seth so much; he makes an incredible heel. It’s clear he’s after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but I’m still not sure if he will be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns or not. I guess only time will tell. Regardless, it’s great having him back.
I am happy to see him back, yes. I thought the showing at Extreme Rules could have been more impactful, but it was still very nice. I did enjoy the lack of a prior announcement, though spoilers as to his attendance did leak hours before the show. It is what it is.
Now, as for how he’s been acting since? Very surprised. I was fully expecting him to be the face, especially lined up against a disliked Reigns. But here he is, still being the heel, and a very good one at that. Will it last? That remains to be seen, but if they wanted a face Rollins, I have to imagine they would have done that right out of the gate.
Super stoked! Seth Rollins’ return is something I’ve been waiting for since he got hurt in November. The pop he got from the New Jersey crowd was electric. Rollins returning made the show and would some even say he saved the show. His reaction the next night on RAW was huge, so the fans are thrilled he’s back. I’m happy and the fans seem the same; so, his return should help WWE grow and maybe even boost morale. Plus, he never lost the championship and a second-title run could be near.
