Baron Corbin interrupts Daniel Bryan and Apollo Crews. Corbin says he beat Dean Ambrose and for some reason was left out of last week’s Smackdown show and was left off of tonight’s card as well. Then Corbin looks at Crews and says they shouldn’t be wasting time with nobodies. Crews and Corbin get in each other’s faces and Bryan sets up a match between them for later in the Kickoff Show.

Singles Match: Apollo Crews vs. Baron Corbin

Both men enter and both men have great entrance themes. Bell sounds and they lock up. Irish whip and Corbin hits a shoulder tackle. Crews hops back to his feet, bounces off the ropes again and this time is able to hit a drop kick on Corbin.

Crews jumps out onto the apron but Corbin hits a drop kick of his own and Crews tumbles down to the floor. Commercial break.

Back again and Corbin drops Crews to the mat with a back elbow. Irish whip and Crews hits a leaping lariat. Corbin comes back and knocks Crews down. He lays some heavy fists into Crews’ face. The crowd starts chanting, “Let’s go Crews.” Corbin lifts Crews up, gripping his jaw tightly and yells at the crowd, “This is who you’re cheering for? This?!”

Corbin hits a huge clothesline and gets a 2 count. Back on the feet and Crews comes back with a jumping knee. Crews hits an enziguri and then a standing moonsault for a 2 count. Corbin runs towards Crews but Crews moves and Corbin hits the corner hard. Crews hits an Olympic Slam and gets a long 2 count.

Crews rushes Corbin and gets hit with a Deep Six. Crews barely kicks out at the 2 mark. Corbin is in the corner and Crews stands on the second turnbuckle and starts raining down shots. Corbin pushes him off and Crews’ face falls into a knee. Corbin hits the End Of Days for the win.

Great match to kick things off.

Winner: Baron Corbin
