Bray Wyatt Hurt At SmackDown, Wouldn’t Let WWE Stop His Match

Wyatt Family
Bray Wyatt injured his ankle at SmackDown Live on Tuesday. On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed the injury was legitimate. Bray finished the match, though WWE wanted to stopped the action.

The plan is still for Bray to wrestle on live events this weekend. If he doesn’t get physically involved, it could indicate the injury is worse than originally thought.

The Wyatt Family returned to storylines last month when they challenged New Day. While the Wyatt Family defeated New Day in a six person tag match at Battleground, the stable is supposed to be done courtesy of the WWE Draft. Bray and Erick Rowan are on SmackDown, while Braun Strowman is at RAW. Luke Harper is still injured and was never drafted.
