CM Punk Working Raw Tonight?, DVR Issues for Tonight’s Raw Event

- A couple of readers have pointed out that their cable providers’ TV guides are listing tonight’s episode of Raw as 3 separate shows. This will cause issues with fans who are attempting to DVR tonight’s event.

– As noted earlier, CM Punk was banged up during his match at Saturday night’s live event in Springfield, Missouri when The Miz botched a suplex during their tag match.

PWInsider has confirmed that Punk did not suffer a concussion, but could have aggravated other issues he has been dealing with. Punk is expected to be working tonight’s Raw event as scheduled and their is no heat on The Miz.

Dont forget to take time off after WM Punk. You deserve time off. 6 months off at least.

And i hope Miz gets less TV time now

6 months? Too long for someone who doesn’t make movies. Unless he’s injured.

      • DoingMaThing

Big Show took time off in 2007 and was gone for a year. Your comment is invalid.

He had some injuries to deal with back then. Like I said, unless Punk got injured, he shouldn’t be taking such a lengthy time off.

          Big Show quit in 2007

I hope your elementary school gets rid of the internet access

      • DoingMaThing

Am i supposed to be offended? Did you come up with that one yourself?

        Try again.

        • Fritz

no need, point proven. Your retort was basically “nuh-uh”

I think Miz is rapidly turning into one of these guys that believes their own hype, like Zack Ryder. He gets trendy on the IWC and looks great because he used to look AWFUL, but gets in the ring with a real worker and is exposed. If he causes the company’s best heel to miss even 1 TV spot, he should be shipped off to NXT to work on his Figure 4 for a few months

    • CMmox

And should job to every single NXT star!

Miz and punk have been working together since ecw. This was his 1st mistake with punk and besides there will be a time when a wrestler gets hurt or seriously injured. Punk is one of them.he was already hurt with his leg being messed up 2 months ago and is still taking a toll on him.

      • coolk

Plus there is no heat on the miz and remember kofi kicking him in the face this past october, was there heat on kofi? No.

      • Sean Patrick

It’s not so much a Miz & Punk issue, its a Miz & Everyone issue. And Kofi’s finisher is kicking dude’s in the face. It’s like getting heat on HBK for kicking someone in the chin. I’m pretty sure the “Skull Crushing Finale” (lame name btw) wasn’t meant to be a botched SUPLEX, the move you learn right after the collar and elbow lockup.

        • coolk

The thing was that it wasn’t a normal suplex, it was a stalling suplex where u have to hold someone in air for awile, I always thought that move could be a bit diificult unless u was really strong. I also think this was the entertainment part in the match as ryback did it to cesaro at same time and yesterday they switch opponents and did just fine. I’m sure they did this friday and did good.

          • CMmox

Agree. As far as you’re not strong enough as a wrestler you should not try that stuff at all unless you’re sure you can pull it off.

  • jcice13

I’m not a miz fan but a botched move? come on folks it’s not like miz has been killing guys all this time with bad moves it was a miztake(sorry bout that) I’m just shocked more guys aren’t hurt every show
