Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Retires

– Former intercontinental champion Ezekiel Jackson has apparently retired from the pro wrestling business. Jackson, real name Rycklon Stephens, informed German promotion Westside Xtreme Wrestling that he was finished after today’s show.

In the WWE, Jackson was the final ECW Champion before that brand was closed. After ECW, Jackson wasn’t able to get out of the mid-card or low level status. He was released after being inactive for about a year.

Since the WWE let Jackson go, he briefly appeared for TNA as security for Dixie Carter and was spotted in Lucha Underground.

Jackson’s wrestling career started in 2007.
