Hulk Hogan Not Happy with Some Things In TNA

– It’s said that Hulk Hogan has not been happy with things in TNA, especially his daughter Brooke’s departure. Hogan was not happy with how TNA handled her departure, feeling that they should have informed him first and let him deal with it.

Communication between Dixie Carter and The Hulkster may have broken down around that time. The recent Impact Wrestling tapings in Cincinnati was the first time Dixie, Hogan and Eric Bischoff were together at the same time in a while.

Multiple sources have confirmed that Hogan’s contract expires on October 1st.

Honestly i think TNA should just close down.

    • Edward Ritlop

Ur probably one of those fans who thinks every wrestling company in N. America should shut down while we all kiss World Weenie Ent.’s ass. TNA puts on a better show & has better pure wrestlers. I think they’d be fine if they spent more on their talent & put Jarrett in charge of the storylines.

      • Mrs. Ambrose

No I do not think that every North American company
Should shut down. And I think the way TNA is going they should shut down.

        • Edward Ritlop

Like I said all I think they need is more cash & better management add a few more wrestlers & spilt time betweengoing on the road & finding a new home base

          • jcice13

better management of course, but who? you almost make it sound like these people grow on trees, and it’s one thing to mention a name or two but who would really want to go there when the ship is sinking. and put more money into it? afraid not, carter isn’t going to put good on top of bad, he knows that, and jarrett was already in charge and the storylines sucked just as much, if not more when he was. the problems with TNA are many and to turn this thing around would be a monumental task, who has the ability to do that?

          • Edward Ritlop

I wouldn’t mind seeing Jarrett return or even if they resignedHulk. TNA’s main problem is getting wrestlers to resign at lower pay. These guys & gals arent making much as it is & they lost a lot good talent especially in the women’s division by being too cheap! U have to invest money & take a chance to make money!

          • jcice13

LOL you’re a funny person, what you say about investing is true but there comes a point where after you’ve made major investments into a project it’s either time to pull the reins back and slim down or scrap the entire thing or sell it. only a fool or a person who has no business acumen keeps putting money into a pit. and maybe, just maybe there has been that slim amount that has succeeded doing business that way but the vast majority knows when to cut bait

          • Edward Ritlop

U don’t get it at all the problem is they never investedenough to begin with that’s my point. HOw can u say it’s a pit when they barely pay them anythingto begin with? Dixie clearly doesn’t know how to run a company cuz when the Jarrett’s were in charge they didn’t have any

          • Edward Ritlop

Complain about having cash problems. And Spike tv is helping pay for them to go on the road so how can Dixie still be losing money? Cuz she doesn’t know hOw to run a wrestling company

          • Edward Ritlop

Lol what ate u Dixie’s husband? Have u ever run a wrestling company?

          • jcice13

well obviously you know all about me and what I’ve done in my life and my background so there’s no need for me to continue having any conversation with you

      • Chelsii?

“TNA puts on a better show & has better pure wrestlers” – HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAH!

  • Macho Man

I would love Hogan to leave so all these TNA fans would have to find a new scapegoat for all they’re problems! They blame Hogan when in reality he is just an on screen GM. He doesn’t own ANY of the company. He is basically an expensive prop. Dixie is the face of TNA but in reality her father Robert is the owner with Jeff Jarrett a minority owner. If you want to blame someone blame Robert and Jeff as they are the owners! Until Robert cares about the company(TNA) even half as much as Vince does his company(WWE), takes pride in it and quits looking at it as a tax write off or a little project for his daughter Dixie to play with, TNA will continue to circle the drain! That is the reality of the situation!

    • Damian Starr

R carter won’t be directly involved with creative though?

      • Macho Man

Vince approves or denies ALL of WWE Creative’s idea’s. So in my opinion Robert Carter would be involved if he had any intrest in the TNA having success! If you’re going to tell me he doesn’t know what he’s doing and if that is the case, then why the hell would you buy a wrestling company?!?!?!? Sell it to someone who might be able to salvage it then!

        • Damian Starr

I don’t think there is someone who is genuinely interested with the sort of money needed :/

          • Macho Man

You may be right but they should at least try to find someone that may want to buy it. Robert Carter bought the majority ownership from Jeff Jarrett at one point. My main point is Hogan has NOTHING to do with the TNA’s failure. It’s the people who OWN it that are responsible for it’s downward decline. They need a business man in charge that has a loyality/love for pro wrestling. Not someone just trying to make a quick buck off of it. Say what you will about Vince and yes I know and agree he loves to make money (and who doesn’t) however Vince loves the business of pro wrestling and has put his heart and soul into WWF/WWE and that is why it has stood the test of time. He wasn’t some rich guy like Ted Turner and Robert Clark who just bought something because they could! The business of pro wrestling runs through Vince’s veins, TNA needs to find a person like that for it to have any chance to succed. If Robert Carter has any dignity he would try to find that person and exit stage left since it is obvious he is not that person!

          • jcice13

I say to you what I just said to mr ritlop, what you’re saying is very true but WHO is that person that you want to come take over this company, this place is a clusterf^%K and the only person I know who can change their fortunes is actually vince. I said a long time ago the WWE should buy them out and have an angle where heyman runs TNA as a “separate”” entity maybe make it look like the WWE ran him out of town and heyman’s revenge could be “starting over” with TNA and even go to WWE events and try and steal some talent by finding loopholes in their contracts etc and signing them away and make it appear like the old NFL/AFL feuds, they even could elevate some NXT stars as well

          • Macho Man

You’re right it’s a clusterf**k at this point and probably beyond saving. The problem with people like Heyman, Cornette, and guys like that is they don’t have the backing and money to actually buy it own it and run it the way they want. People with the business sense and pro wrestling’s best intrusts in mind are not growing on trees. I do think if Vince bought it he could salvage it but he won’t because (A) TNA does not pose the threat to WWE that WCW did.(B) With no other real wrestling business’s for TNA’s talent to go to he can just wait for them to go belly up and pick up any talent he may want to bring in to WWE for minimal cost. The only other way I could see TNA being saved though I don’t think it would EVER happen but I would love to see it happen is if Shane McMahon bought it and picked up the scrap’s and built his own empire out of it. It would NEVER happen though as Shane is line for ownership with Stephanie once Vince is no longer with us. I don’t care if it’s TNA or somebody starts a new pro wrestling company tomorrow, I just want WWE to have viable competition because in my opinion WWE was at it’s best when it had viable competition from WCW during the stretch of Monday Night Wars.

          • jcice13

well keep dreaming because there’s no one coming on the horizon, and a while ago I wrote here that same scenario where shane was going to be the unknown owner of TNA and go to war with the WWE, but again all a work and together under the umbrella of the WWE but without the marks knowledge of it and then they’d have that war I spoke of and even have heyman there with shane…as for Cornette??? please as much as I enjoy him there’s no way he can run a company and make it succeed, it’s almost 2014 and he lives in the distant past, his audience would consist of the same numbers they already have
and to prove the point there’s no one around to make a difference today? who ran that great competition against vince? bischoff and hogan and they had turner’s money behind them, if they didn’t sign hall and nash they probably wouldn’t have gotten as far as they did and what happened in the almost 4 years is it now that those guys are the faces of TNA? zippo if TNA wants to do what WCW did?? then they’d have to sign Cena, Punk and Bryan right now to make that same type of impact, what do you think the odds are of that happening?

          • Macho Man

The chances are probably zero which in the long run makes WWE not have to step they’re game up because no competition means fans have no where else to go. So in the end the fans lose!

          • jcice13

I sort of disagree with your assumption that the WWE doesn’t need to step up because of no competition, being that it’s not only a tv show but a publicly traded company they are always competing, with themselves and their bottom line and ratings. I don’t think they’re lax if that were the case then why hire new writers as often as they do, now whether their moves are profitable or good? that’s another issue, but to think that a major company like the WWE and that Vince isn’t always trying to get better is not what I agree with, makes no sense since ratings equal money from both TV and live shows and when you talk about the fans losing? that’s just what you feel about it and some others as well but as long as they keep status quo they won’t panic. I myself don’t agree with a lot of the angles I see or how certain guys are used or not used, but don’t you think the people here are the more rabid fan base as opposed to the vast majority that just watch the product and are entertained by it without all the back stage knowledge? I am old enough to remember long before the dirt sheets and internet how wrestling was and how much fun it was to try and figure out what’s going to happen and who’s coming into a new territory or who will lose the loser leave town match cause they have a new deal with another company. I truly miss those days because it was much more fun and might I say a more compelling show. I surely won’t waste time or money going to a movie that I already know the plot and the ending or watch any ball game on tape where I already know the score

          • Macho Man

Point well taken as I remember those days as well. I’m not saying Vince isn’t always trying to make WWE better because he is and that is why it has survived the test of time. I’m just saying the fire burns a little hotter to put an even better product out when someone is putting that same product out at a pretty close level to yours.

          • jcice13

surely agree with you there because when your back is against the wall and you’re a fighter you have more of a burning in your gut to get out there and work harder to succeed

  • KingBack

TNA without Hogan = way smaller crowds (is it even possible? lol)

    • jcice13

they will always have a full house at the impact zone because of the place it’s held, but they keep canceling road shows, topeka being the latest, and hogan is here, so it doesn’t matter. TNA without hogan =’s an 75,000 in their pockets weekly

      • Guest

Will always be full huh? LOL ok.

      • YoungAngryMan

Will always be full huh? LOL ok.

  • Devon

  • tt2000

Go away hogan! and dont come back.

  • Z….

    GG HOGAN! GET OUT

  • ZAYNATION

I hope he doesn’t resign. With what they pay him they can sign some useful talent from the indys.
