Jerry “The King” Lawler’s Suspension Officially Over

Early Friday, Jerry “The King” Lawler and his fiancée Lauryn McBride had their domestic violence charges dropped. WWE has lifted Lawler’s suspension, which went into effect the day of the incident.

It all began when McBride returned home intoxicated after Game 6 of the NBA Finals. They began arguing and it escalated to where an unloaded gun was placed on the kitchen counter. There was talk of using the gun to commit suicide, but both parties couldn’t agree on who said what.

Their lawyer said both his clients apologized and are ready to move on from this event.

No word if Lawler will resume his WWE work this week.

why is it that all these people say basically the same things..whether it’s domestic violence, drugs etc it’s all the same.”I don’t know how they got in my system” I don’t recall how this escalated” and all the other crap they espouse…..some how some way the police got called in to this scene and they arrested both of them, now I realize getting arrested and getting convicted are two different things BUT just because the dropped and neither could say “who said what” doesn’t take away from the fact there was a violent scene and police were involved…if the WWE is serious about all their causes they support there’s no way that Lawler should be allowed back, at least for a good long time
