Jim Ross Blog: CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar, Upcoming Schedule & More

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has published a new blog entry on JrsBarBq.com. Here are some highlights.

Daniel Bryan not leaving SummerSlam with the WWE Championship: “Daniel Bryan may be more popular today than if he had actually won the WWE Title at Summer Slam. Bryan will now apparently chase new Champ Randy Orton and the thrill of the fan favorite chasing the antagonist has always interested me as a fan.”

CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar: “… another masterpiece. I predicted that it would be overtly physical and it certainly was in delivering a ‘DEE-LUX’ Slobber Knocker of a match.”

His schedule this week: “Heading to NXT soon for the Thursday night event there at Full Sail University. Should be a great TV taping with many of the NXT talents getting a taste of the WWE by being at Summer Slam Axxess. Then it’s on to the UK where I will arrive Saturday morning in London and then do our first of four ‘Evening With…’ shows starting in Cardiff Saturday evening. London and Glasgow are sold out but a handful of tickets remain for our Manchester event at the Comedy Store. Manchester is our biggest venue and tickets are available at psievents.eventbrite.com.”

For serious, Who really cares what JR is doing now? I clicked the wrong link and this wasted 27 seconds of my life I’ll never get back.

He was good in his time, but that was a decade ago.

Always was a fan of JR and and he is still relevant to the company

JR knows his stuff and gives out pretty great opinions on things. I just wish his responses could be longer than these tweet-length messages.

JR writes the blog because people ask him those questions. Setting at ringside for over 30 years and being the VP of talent relations for 10 plus years gives JR a unique point of view. He has basically watched every relevant match ever and he called a whole lot of those matches. I love JR. I wish they would put him back on commentary.
