Jim Ross: Steve Austin Tore His Rotator Cuff In WrestleMania Spot With Rusev

WWE Network
Steve Austin has been handling most of the WWE Network podcast, but Mick Foley will take his role when Shane McMahon is the guest. According to WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross’ latest blog, his good friend Austin had major rotator cuff surgery days ago and isn’t ready to travel.

“Steve is in a very restrictive sling on his right arm and only got the stitches removed from his shoulder a day or two ago,” wrote Ross. “There is no doubt that Mick Foley will do a stellar job going one on one with Shane in what should be a infotaining piece of business. Austin went into WM32 with a slight tear in his right shoulder but it completely tore on the first punch with which Steve nailed Rusev.”

Foley will interview Shane right after RAW ends on May 23. It can be seen exclusively on the WWE Network.
