New Day Break WWE Record

Xavier Woods
New Day are now WWE’s longest reigning Tag Team Champions. Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods surpassed Paul London and Bran Kendrick by holding the gold for 332 days. Of course, New Day wrestle using the Freebird Rule and all three are recognized as champions.

At Battleground, New Day takes on the Wyatt Family in a six person tag match.

For this record, the WWE only recognizes tag teams up until 2002.  Demolition still has the record for longest World Tag Team Championship reign, which was set a few decades ago.

I know a girl who only recognizes events since 1992. She was born that exact same year. Crazy coincidence.

“the WWE only recognizes tag teams up until 2002″. That’s because the WWE Tag Team Championship was created in 2002. The World Tag Team Championship is a different title.
