Plans for WWE’s Main Event Show, WWE & NFL’s Current Referee Debacle, More

– In a correction from last night, the opponent for Ted DiBiase in this week’s WWE Superstars match was Michael McGillicutty. We previously reported that it was Jinder Mahal.

– Last night’s Monday Night Football game on ESPN between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks ended in controversy with the NFL’s replacement referees at the center of it. The replacement referee situation has brought a lot of heat against the NFL and head honcho Roger Goodell this season. During last night’s debacle, Vince McMahon and XFL were trending worldwide on Twitter.

The whole storyline on RAW with the referees is based on the NFL replacement referee debacle. Word is that Vince McMahon isn’t happy with the NFL because of RAW ratings.

– WWE Main Event debuts on the Ion Network beginning Wednesday, October 3rd. WWE will begin taping matches for Main Event beginning next week. The idea is to tape Main Event on Mondays before RAW and tape Superstars on Tuesday before SmackDown.

Blame the NFL for the ratings? why not blame the shitty product? Kane and Daniel Bryan story has me turning the channel. Cena is injured and we still cannot have a show without him. AJ is just annoying

  • Fuck Off

How do you blame the NFL for your own shows problems? You never spent any time building up anyone until the show went to three hours, and now you expect everyone to be thrilled and entertained when they see former jobbers coming out for matches against other former jobbers. You did it to yourself, Vince.

So, what will we see on “The Main Event” then? Will it only be Main Event stars competing then?
