Shelton Benjamin Explains Rotator Cuff Injury, Return Date For Inside The Ring

WWE
WWE had just started advertising Shelton Benjamin’s return when everything was put on hold due to a pre-existing torn rotator cuff. Benjamin spoke to Jim Ross on The Ross Report about the setback.

The injury happened almost three months ago and took place during a Pro Wrestling NOAH match. Benjamin knew he was hurt, but didn’t realize he had a full rotator cuff tear until a WWE physical.

Benjamin will undergo surgery and has been told he can return to the ring anywhere from six months to a year.

As for a return to WWE, Benjamin is being optimistic and hopes the door is open down the road.
