Smackdown Live: 8 pm EST
Show opens up and Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon comes out to the ring. He says that after Survivor Series, Smackdown will no longer be the ‘B’ show. It will be THE show. Shane then blames Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon for the attack that happened against Daniel Bryan recently on Raw. Shane will have his revenge at Survivor Series. The crowd chants for Bryan and Shane says that Bryan will be back next week. Shane continues, saying that the Smackdown roster has a lot of heart and a lot of fight and they’re already in the heads of the Raw roster. Then he introduces The New Day.
New Day comes out and start talking trash about the Raw roster. They crack some jokes about the siege and point out that Raw did NOTHING about it. Eventually Shane and The New Day start dancing along to “New Day Rocks” chants. That’s when Kevin Owens’ music hits and he comes out with Sami Zayn. Owens says that lame display was the stupidest thing he’s seen in his entire life. Sami tells Shane that he hates to break it to him that he’s not cool. Kofi criticizes Sami Zayn’s own terrible attempts at dancing during his entrance.
Owens tells Sami not to listen to Kofi. Then he turns his attention to Shane, saying that Shane is trying to bring down everyone because of his own shortcomings; because Owens beat him in Hell In A Cell. Shane tells them this attitude they’re showing is exactly why they are not representing Smackdown Live. Sami says he didn’t lose to Randy Orton, he lost to a low blow. Shane replies that Owens also lost to Shinsuke Nakamura. Owens explodes saying that they shouldn’t have needed qualifying matches because they’re the two best performers on the roster.
The New Day drops a few insults on Owens and Sami and laugh riotously at their punchlines. Sami laughs sarcastically and returns some insults of his own. Shane reiterates that this is why they aren’t part of the Smackdown team and then he makes a match between Sami Zayn and Kofi Kingston to take place right now.
Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Kofi Kingston
Back from commercial and Kofi drop kicks Sami out of the ring. Sami takes his time getting back in, almost stepping through the ropes but then stepping back to the floor again. He confers with Owens at ringside. Kofi goes for a baseball slide but Sami moves and starts taking it to Kofi. Back in the ring and Sami knocks Kofi down and then goes for a missile drop kick. Kofi catches him on the way down with a drop kick of his own. Both men sell in the ring as it cuts to commercial.
Back again and Sami tries to throw Kofi out of the ring but Kofi counters and throws Sami out instead. Then Kofi does an innovative high-risk move over the top out onto Sami. Back in the ring and Kofi goes for Trouble In Paradise but Sami counters with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near-fall. Sami goes for a Helluva Kick but Kofi counters. They trade reversals and counters until Kofi hits a cross-body off the second rope and gets the surprise 3-count.
Winner: Kofi Kingston
WWE Champion Jinder Mahal cuts a promo ahead of his title defense about how he’s the modern day Maharaja and how he’s going to defeat AJ Styles.

Aiden English is in the ring to introduce Rusev with a song.
Singles Match: Rusev vs. Randy Orton
If Rusev wins he will earn a spot on Team Smackdown for Survivor Series. Bell sounds and Orton goes for an early RKO but Rusev blocks and nails Orton with a big kick. Rusev pins a couple times and gets a couple short 2-counts. Rusev stomps Orton as it cuts to commercial.
Back again and Rusev has Orton in a rear chin-lock. Irish whip and Rusev delivers a jumping spin-kick. He pushes Orton into the corner and drives his shoulder into Orton’s gut. Rusev pins but Orton kicks out. Rusev bounces off the ropes and drops a few elbows. He pins but Orton kicks out again. Rusev repeatedly tries to pin Orton but can’t get the fall. Rusev paces around the ring, deciding what to do. Then as he approaches Orton he gets hit with an RKO out of nowhere. Orton pins and gets the 3-count.
Winner: Randy Orton
James Ellsworth is looking for Carmella but finds Becky Lynch instead. He asks Becky if she really thinks she has a chance against him tonight? He says the whole women’s revolution is a farce and that he just goes along with it because it makes Carmella happy. But tonight he will show why this wrestling stuff isn’t for the softer sex. Becky gets in his face and says those are some ballsy words for someone who doesn’t have any balls.
