Tonight’s WWE Tapings, The Usos Want Title Shot, The Rock Update

– Tonight’s WWE Main Event and SmackDown tapings will take place from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Confirmed for Main Event is Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose for the United States Title. Confirmed for SmackDown is a special appearance by CM Punk. Remember to join us tonight for live spoilers.

– The Usos, who had previously earned a WWE Tag Team Title shot, were tweeting last night about how they want their shot now. They tweeted that they would see new champions Goldust and Cody Rhodes soon.

– The Rock is in talks to star in an action movie called San Andres, about a massive earthquake hitting California. Rock would play a man who must make the journey across the devastated state to rescue his estranged daughter. After finishing Hercules filming last week, Rock flew straight to Atlanta to begin filming Fast 7.

Will the Rock be playing CJ?

Although it’s San Andres and not San Andreas that GTA reference still made me laugh.

The only San Andres I found was an island in the Caribbean and not in California.

After doing some quick research it appears that this site called the movie “San Andres” when in fact it IS “San Andreas”. The GTA reference makes more sense now lol.

As much as I love both Goldust and Cody, I’m really irritated at the Usos getting shafted for the 900th time. It made sense a couple of years ago when Jimmy (or was it Jey?) got pulled over for DUI. But now it just seems like WWE are trolling the Usos and their fans, and that’s not right. Plus, it’s an awful failure of logic. The Usos were the #1 Contenders and they never got their match. If they wanted to put the belts on Cody and Goldust, what should have happened was for Cody and Goldust to have a #1 Contenders’ match with the Usos last Friday instead of the Wyatt Family, who seems to be feuding with Miz – except not really, as Bray’s hurt and possibly won’t even be able to do Hell In A Cell.

Although the match itself was one of the best I’ve seen on RAW in a while, and it was time for Rollins and Reigns to drop the titles. I hope the Shield splits soon – that’ll clear room for the Wyatt Family and give us three new singles competitors that can grow and show their individual strengths because there really isn’t a midcard at the moment – both minor championships are locked up in storyline.
