WWE To Do 2 PPV Events Per Month Starting In September

WWE
Jerry “The King” Lawler mentioned the upcoming brand split at the Annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois over the weekend. Lawler noted that the plan is to do two pay-per-view events per month.

    Ehhhh

They already struggle to write RAW and Smackdown every week. This is probably going to end poorly

This news confirms 2 things: 1: the return of the World Heavyweight Championship. And 2: separate writing teams, one for RAW and one for Smackdown. I honestly believe that this can be a success, I was a huge fan of the separate PPVs during the original brand extension.

The separate PPVs were hit and miss back in the original brand extension days when they were actually good storylines..moving too fast right now

And back then, didn’t they switch month by month?

        Sometimes they did I think
