WWE Pay-Per-View Buyrates for July, August & September

As noted earlier, WWE released the company’s third quarter earnings for 2012, the following is the official Pay Per View buyrates for events in July, August & September.

* WWE Money in the Bank (7/15/12): 188,000 buys (down from 195,000 in 2011)

* WWE Summerslam (8/19/12): 358,000 buys (up from 296,000 in 2011)

* WWE Night of Champions (9/16/12): 189,000 buys (up from 161,000 in 2011)

    Have to give credit where its due
    wwe have really improved their ppv quality rate as compared to last two years
    much better build up and better matches as compared to 2010 and 2011

    @ Christian, i kinda disagree. The last two year’s Summerslam main events were Cena vs Punk and Nexus vs Team WWE. Those two main events had much more build, were much hotter storylines than the Brock vs Triple-H feud this year. Also the match quality was much better better. The buy rates are high because of the promotional tool that is Brock Lesnar.
