There is no denying that since bursting onto the WWE scene after SummerSlam, Braun Strowman has done just about anything he’s wanted to do in WWE. So, considering how he’s been relatively unchecked thus far…who will finally step up and knock him down a peg?

Dorathy Gass:

This is a hard one, because it seems that WWE is currently building Strowman up as a force to be reckoned with. It really depends on how his storyline will unfold moving forward. Will he and Harper move on to tag team action? Or will they continue to play supporting roles (competing in singles’ action and six-man tags) with Bray Wyatt – to build on the Wyatt stable idea and Bray’s control over the two? In terms of singles competition, should Erik Rowan return and come back as a baby face (hurt by the fact that he was so easily replaced with Strowman); a feud between the two superstars would be interesting. Kevin Owens, Ryback, or Cesaro could give the big man a run for his money. Potentially even a ‘David versus Goliath’ feud with him and Neville might work as well.

John Deegan:

This one  is hard. I don’t think such a man is on the current WWE roster, simple as that. There is a chance that someone will rise up from the NXT roster, but that will take months, and may not be as much of a surprise as was Strowman’s own debut. Looking at who is on the roster, it all depends. Do they want to make Strowman into a beast, but only to a point, and then have him slayed? Then I see WWE getting him into singles matches and letting him run off an unbeaten streak, a la Rusev, until he meets his match-either WrestleMania or SummerSlam would be my guess. If they do make him that beast who becomes a notch on someone’s belt, I could make a case for Kevin Owens, for Neville, for Sami Zayn or any of the young Superstars-who are big and tough, but dwarfed by Strowman. I think that ends up being the likely ploy, some underdog, mismatched guy takes him down. Otherwise? It would be Roman Reigns in The Push 2: If at first you don’t get over, try again.

Joseph Lisnow:

Right now, nobody; but like any character that won’t last. If I had to guess, Roman Reigns is the one to stop Braun Strowman. He’s currently feuding with the Wyatt Family and has been shown to knock the gigantic wrestler down on the rare occasion. In a few months, Strowman will be nothing special. He’s super green and that will appear in the more singles matches WWE books. By letting Reigns beat Strowman, it increases his stock as WrestleMania season approaches. If the WWE wants to make Reigns a real threat for the WWE Championship, then finding a way to pin Strowman is a must. Reigns can’t let a new addition to the roster, with little experience, take his chance. Before the years is over, Strowman’s undefeated run will have been ended by Reigns and so begins another run towards main eventing WrestleMania for the WWE Championship.

Stephen Nixon:

I have no idea who will rival Bruan Strowman. However, I’m going to have to come up with someone for this. I’m going to say that Roman Reigns will be the one to rival him because he’s already in a feud and he’s somewhat similar to his size. Although Strowman is much bigger than him, it will only help Reigns to be the one to defeat Strowman because he would instantly get more over. Strowman doesn’t have much to offer right now except for his size. He’s just a big man with no mic skills, and is decent in the ring. Whoever ends up rivaling with him and defeating him will be a giant and will get over, but it’s still probably going to take a while for him to be close to getting defeated. There are only a handful of people who can wrestle with him, but I can see Reigns being the man for the job right now.
