The betting odds are starting to come in for Hell in a Cell, but it’s still too soon to make the safe bet. That will come in the final 60 minutes before the event begins. With less than a day to go, here are my early favorites to leave Hell in a Cell in defeat.
As a friendly reminder, WrestleNewz has
Hell in a Cell play by play coverage tonight at 7 PM EST. Though Charlotte just won the divas title, there’s this feeling that Paige will somehow get inserted into the match. She won’t pin Charlotte, but Flair’s first title run won’t be as historic as the WWE is promoting. If John Cena takes a well-deserved mini-vacation at the conclusion of Hell in a Cell, then there’s no way he leaves with the gold. Cena, the belt, and lots of talent got a chance to shine thanks to the U.S. Open Challenge. Either Brock Lesnar or Undertaker needs to end this decade long feud and the winner shows who is the new face of fear. Lesnar is a beast and he’s proved that in every match since his return by destroying opponents. I applaud Kane on slightly changing his gimmick over time and remaining fresh for 20 years. Despite that, Kane has never been the top champion in WWE for long periods and that won’t start tonight. For months the Dudley Boyz have chased New Day, never able to capture the tag team gold. That won’t change at Hell in a Cell, but give the Dudley Boyz one more shot at Survivor Series and they’ll make that match count.
