More from Wrestle Newz

Show opens up and Renee Young introduces Daniel Bryan, who makes his way out to the ring. Renee extolls his recent accomplishments since his return but says his loss last week seems to have hit him pretty hard. All the while, the crowd chants Bryan’s name relentlessly and Bryan asks Renee to feel that. “Feel all of that!” he says. Bryan says sure, he lost. But does anyone like losing? The crowd chants, “No! No! No!”

Bryan says when he was back, he was just happy to be back. But now it’s not enough to just be back. he wants to be on top. He knows he’ll have to scratch and he’ll have to claw but he will become the WWE Champion. The crowd starts a “yes” chant but Big Cass walks out and says “Hold on, hold on, hold on…” The crowd boos and calls him an asshole. Cass says he’s been in the back listening to Bryan run his mouth and he’s sick of it.

Cass says he has the WWE Universe fooled but he doesn’t have Cass fooled. All this heartwarming crap he spews… but Cass knows the truth. Renee said Rusev was Bryan’s first major setback since his return but Cass disagrees. Cass says he was the first major setback because he was the reason Bryan lost to Rusev. Cass says he beat Bryan from pillar to post and he’ll keep beating him down.

Cass says Bryan won’t be able to go anywhere without a 7-foot shadow following him around. Everyone wants to talk about Bryan’s 75 minutes in the Greatest Royal Rumble but Cass showed that Bryan was nothing but a loser. Bryan should have thought about having a replacement against Rusev. Maybe that little person that Cass beat up because at least that little person took his beating with some dignity.

Cass asks if Daniel Bryan is a loser and offers the answer: “YES!” Cass asks if it’s really Brie Bella who wears the pants in their relationship. Answer: “YES!” Cass steps into the ring and Bryan bullrushes him with an aggressive attack. Bryan delivers an onslaught. He ties Cass’ injured knee up in the ropes and lands stomps on it. Officials try to pull Bryan away and the crowd boos.

Bryan rolls out of the ring and comes around from a different angle and continues to attack Cass’ leg. Bryan ends up with a heel hook sunk in deep in the middle of the ring as Cass cries out in terrible agony from the pain. Cass is eventually released from the hold and staggers his way up the aisle to the back as Bryan’s music plays.

Money In The Bank Qualifying Tag Team Match: The Bar vs. The New Day

The winning team will choose one member to enter the MITB ladder match. The Miz joins the broadcast booth. Bell sounds and Xavier Woods starts things off against Cesaro. Woods has some early success as he stumbles Cesaro with a shot and then hits a flip over the top rope out onto Sheamus at ringside. Back in the ring and Cesaro tries to hit a belly-to-back suplex on Woods but Woods backflips and lands on his feet.

Sheamus comes in to help Cesaro and together they level Woods with a double clothesline. Commercial break.

Back again and Cesaro gets a near-fall. Woods is isolated in The Bar’s corner. Woods makes some space and crawls to tag Big E. E gets the tags and comes in hot. he lands a belly-to-belly on Sheamus and then a rope-to-rope standing splash. Big E slams Sheamus again and pins for a 2-count. Sheamus manages to get a tag to Cesaro and The Bar spikes Sheamus with a double DDT.

Cesaro starts looking for a Sharpshooter and E tries to power out of it but Cesaro sink it in. On the outside, Woods throws Sheamus into the ring post then jumps in the ring to save Big E. Woods hits Cesaro with a big move and gets a near-fall. Big E and Sheamus enter the fray and slug it out. Sheamus is knocked to the apron and Big E spears him through the ropes to the floor outside.

Woods delivers a flying elbow off the top rope to Cesaro and pins for the 1-2-3. One member of The New Day will compete in the MITB ladder match.

Winners: The New Day

Smackdown general manager Paige tells Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville that they’ll be having a MITB qualifying match against Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat match. She reminds them that means every woman for themselves. They skulk off in a huff.

Singles Match: Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas vs. Jobber

Almas immediately starts putting a beating on the jobber. He stomps him out in the corner and jumps on his chest. Then Almas delivers double-knees and spikes the jobber with a Hammer-Lock DDT for the victory.

Winner: Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas

After the match, Zelina Vegas starts cutting a promo for Almas. She says they expected more from SD Live, not some useless jobber. They didn’t come to take part, they came to take over.

Rusev tells Aiden English he expected a better room for the man who destroyed Daniel Bryan. English says he tried but this is London after all. English prepares to practice his singing when Lana comes in. She tells him to save his beautiful voice because he’s going to have a new song to sing soon. Because Lana has a MITB qualifying match. Rusev and Lana will look to become the first-ever Mr. and Mrs. Money In The Bank. Lana asks English what day this will happen on and he answers with a melody: “Rusev Dayyyyy!”
