Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are talking backstage. Shane is trying to figure out what Bryan has been thinking. He hired Bryan because he respects him but why would Bryan make himself a special referee after Shane already made himself a special referee? Bryan says he just wants to protect the integrity of the competition because Shane admittedly has some preferences in the match. Shane accepts this and tells Bryan he’ll see him out there.

Corbin is interviewed and he accuses Ziggler of stealing the US Title and assures everyone that he intends to get it back. He throws a trash can down the hall for emphasis.
