Colt Cabana is suing CM Punk for over $1 million dollars stemming from the lawsuit from WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann. The Chicago Sun Times states Caba (real name Scott Colton) filed the lawsuit against Punk (real name Phillip Brooks) for breach of contract and fraud.
Cabana says he was told via text message from Punk that the cost of their legal case with Amann would be covered. After unpaid legal fees for Cabana reachaed $513,736, Punk alledgly said he would only pay half. Cabana wants another $200,000 for general damage and another $1 million on top for punitive & exemplary damages.
All this started years ago when Punk abruptly left WWE. He appeared on Cabana’s podcast and had several unflattering comments about his WWE run. The two were later sued by Amann, but he lost the case.
The lawsuit was filed in Cook County Circuit Court.
