-As reported by PWInsider, WWE had contemplated having Brock Lesnar appear on this week’s RAW. Plans changed, and The Beast did not appear. No word as of yet for why plans changed, or even when he will next show up on WWE programming.

Lesnar is scheduled to battle Universal Champion Roman Reigns and fellow challenger Braun Strowman in a triple threat match at WWE’s next Saudi Arabian event, Crown Jewel. The show happens in Riyahd, Saudi Arabia in early November.

-Once we saw Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker verbally spar a couple weeks back on RAW, rumors began to run rampant. As Undertaker teased HBK about being retired and scared to fight again, the speculation ramped up: could Michaels work one more match? While nothing has been announced yet, things appear to be heading that way.

Initially, insiders expected a tag match to happen, as a way to ensure all the aging veterans would be able to put on a decent match. Rumors point to this happening at Crown Jewel, and the match would likely be Triple H and Shawn Michaels versus The Undertaker and Kane. But that’s hardly the juiciest part of the rumblings now.

Barnburners podcast is speculating that a returning Shawn Michaels could be in line for as many as five planned matches, which would be a big deal. The rumored tag match for Crown Jewel would be the first, but many anticipate HBK and The Phenom to go one on one, and soon. While such a match would seem poised for say, WrestleMania, the rumors are actually pointing to the match happening as early as November’s Survivor Series. There is some discussion about possibly holding off until the first PPV of 2019, January’s Royal Rumble. Personally, such a big match would make more sense for WrestleMania, but if the Saudi money convinces HBK to unretire for a November match, then you can’t pitch a ‘Mania match as nearly as big a deal.
