– There is no doubt WWE has interest in bringing in international stars Fenix and Pentagon Jr. A major obstacle standing in their way of signing with WWE would be their deals with Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground. We’re not sure how long the Impact Wrestling deals are for, but the Lucha Underground contracts last until season four.
During the Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted how the biggest issue will be with Lucha Underground. The report continued that a stipulation is likely in place that could see them leave after season four of Lucha Underground airs. The promotion is currently airing season three, but there is no word on how many episodes it involves. Previous seasons have ranged from 20 to 40 episodes.
The brothers have not committed to many dates for 2019, leading to speculation that they are interested and possibly headed to WWE. It will come down to Fenix and Pentagon Jr. getting of their current deals.
– The sage between Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels will continue next week. WWE confirmed that Undertaker will appear on RAW to address the comments made by Triple H. For those who missed RAW, Triple H basically stated how he felt bad for the Undertaker after resentment.
When defining wrestling history, all three of those men will be mentioned. Their history goes back over 10 years. Undertaker defeated Michaels at WrestleMania 26 and thus forced him into retirement. Triple H would then battle Undertaker several times at WrestleMania, but was never able to get the victory. The last time they met was at WrestleMania 28 was inside Hell in a Cell. Undertaker won as Michaels played the role of referee. That encounter was billed as the End of an Era, but that was clearly a lie.
The two will meet at the Super Show-Down on October 6 from Australia’s Melbourne Cricket Ground. The match is being billed as the last time ever Triple H will take on Undertaker.
Below is WWE’s announcement.
