Referee Shawn Bennet was sent to officiate the match and Jeremy Borash is also there helping out. Borash was actually a part of the original ‘Broken’ storyline in IMPACT and the previous matches that took place at the compound.
PWI says there is no word on any other WWE talents being brought for the match.
Scott Hall caught some backlash from the late Davey Boy Smith AKA the British Bulldog’s family after he took a pot shot in response to a fan’s compliment of the Allied Powers tag team pairing of Lex Luger and the Bulldog.
The fan had said:
“Lex Luger & Davey Boy Smith were everyone a kid from the 90s wanted as a tag team.”
To which Hall replied in a since deleted tweet:
“You mean failed single wrestlers.”
To that, Davey Boy’s daughter and wife responded and essentially told Hall that he’s got his own problems and should be wary of throwing stones in glass houses:
Fuck you @SCOTTHALLNWO, my Dad was not a failed man in ANY way. Don’t have the fondest memories of you as a child, & haven’t seen much recently that makes me think you’ve changed. 3 of your 5 best matches involved my family, & you didn’t win one of them. @GenuineLexLuger https://t.co/UxLzKS1DL8

Well said @georgiasmith87 & I say @SCOTTHALLNWO overrates himself. He’s a jealous, bitter wrestler who hated taking bumps, never went off his feet, was lucky he got anywhere in wrestling w/his limited mentality & technical ability, but no limit to all of his fears aka weak!
