– In June, Big Cass was unexpectedly released by WWE. Since he is currently serving a 90 day no compete clause, he will be available to wrestle again in September.
Cass has already been confirmed for a Big Time Wrestling show on September 21 from the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium in Spartanburg, SC. He will be going by the name “Big Cazz” as WWE owns the rights to his original name. Other names advertised to appear include Mick Foley, Faces of Fear, James Ellsworth, Tommy Dreamer, Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Emma.
Upon joining the main roster, Cass teamed with Enzo before splitting the pair up last summer. In their final match on RAW, Cass tore his ACL and was out until after WrestleMania 34. He wrestled two matches after returning; tapping twice to Daniel Bryan. He was then released due to backstage issues with Vince McMahon and appearing intoxicated in public during a live events tour overseas.
